As a Senior Procurement Consultant, you will have the opportunity to influence some of the UK's most high-profile projects, working within a team that drives innovation, sustainability, and value at every stage of the procurement process.

Prior consultancy experience is not required, and this role is ideal for professionals with strong industry expertise in procurement, who are looking to broaden their horizons. The Role:

In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic procurement consultancy to clients across FM, construction, and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with client goals, driving cost savings, efficiency, and supplier innovation.
  • Diverse Category Management: Manage procurement across both direct categories (e.g., construction materials and equipment) and indirect categories (e.g., facilities management and corporate services).
  • Large-Scale Project Delivery: Support the delivery of complex, high-value projects using frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC, and JCT, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Client Partnership: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a key advisor on procurement processes and best practices.
  • Sustainability Focus: Champion innovative approaches that incorporate sustainability and carbon reduction, contributing to long-term environmental goals.

Why Join This Consultancy?

  • Powerhouse for Projects: Be part of a consultancy renowned for delivering large-scale, complex projects and programs that make a tangible impact across FM, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Global Reach with Local Expertise: Access the firm's extensive global resources while working on UK-focused projects that drive real change in local communities.

  • Rewarding Project Portfolio: Work across a variety of sectors, contributing to high-profile projects that shape the built environment and drive operational excellence for clients.
  • Leading in Sustainability: Join a firm committed to integrating green practices and carbon reduction strategies into every project, ensuring a better future for the industry.

  • Requirements:

    • Proven Procurement Expertise: A strong background in procurement for FM, construction, or infrastructure projects, including experience managing large-scale contracts.
    • Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT, with the ability to navigate compliance and governance requirements.
    • Strategic Mindset: A track record of designing and delivering procurement strategies that achieve measurable outcomes and exceed client expectations.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills: Confidence in building relationships and negotiating with senior stakeholders and suppliers across diverse teams.
    • Professional Accreditation (Desirable): CIPS or MCIPS certification is advantageous but not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global consultancy that sets the benchmark for procurement excellence, enabling you to play a critical role in shaping the future of FM, construction, and infrastructure.
