Job description

Well-known brand require a Procurement Manager to cover IT and Technology spend areas. Previous IT and technology procurement experience, or expertise across generalist indirect or professional services categories will be required.

An exciting end-to-end procurement opportunity, the Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for leading sourcing/tendering, contracts management and supplier relationship management. The focus will be on IT and technology services and products for internal business use, and customer facing applications and software. Working within a small and high-performing team, the Procurement Business Partner will seek to optimise procurement efficiencies and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Procurement Business Partner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Stakeholder engagement to understand required scope of category sourcing and supplier management strategies
  • Front-end procurement work; supply market intelligence, sourcing and running tenders cradle-to-grave
  • Supplier Relationship Management - driving improved performance, innovation and collaboration
  • Contracts Management via contract lifecycle process, including contract renewals
  • Support broader procurement management initiatives around risk and operational resilience
Procurement Business Partner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Procurement experience within the IT/Technology space, generalist indirect or professional services
  • Strong team player who can demonstrate versatility
  • Ability to manage data and use data to drive procurement decision making
  • Full lifecycle procurement expertise - tendering, negotiations, contracts and SRM
  • CIPS/MCIPS - desirable but not essential
