Job Description
Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to manage and optimize our demand forecasting process. The role involves analyzing sales trends, market data, and inventory levels to ensure accurate demand planning and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate market insights into demand planning.
  • Monitor and analyze demand fluctuations, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance demand, supply, and cost efficiency.
  • Use statistical tools and forecasting software to improve demand accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on demand trends and inventory performance for stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of demand planning software and tools.
  • Work closely with suppliers and production teams to ensure supply aligns with demand.
  • Develop contingency plans for demand fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical forecasting.
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools such as SAP APO or similar software.
  • Advanced PowerBI skills or similar apps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce industries.

Knowledge of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
