Hexcel is currently seeking a Buyer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Hexcel is currently seeking a Buyer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
- Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities
- Monitor the inventory level and share the inventory yearly Plan.
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery
- Engineering Degree in Supply Chain/Industry or relevant field.
- Relevant 4 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office is a must).
- Relevant experience using ERP (Microsoft AX is a plus).
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
