Are you a strategic procurement professional with a passion for Capex, infrastructure, and engineering projects? Want to shape procurement on a global scale with one of Europe's leading FMCG / manufacturing groups?
This is your chance to step into a high-impact role within a flourishing procurement team where you'll be responsible for managing capital equipment, infrastructure, MRO and engineering services related spend to drive cost savings, supply continuity, and innovation. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and category stakeholders, building strong supplier partnerships and ensuring seamless project delivery across Europe and the UK.
Capex Strategic Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Support and shape CAPEX sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract implementation.
- Act as the UK procurement lead for CAPEX, collaborating across local and the wider EU team.
- Lead supplier meetings and project phases.
- Drive strategic sourcing and risk management for engineering, infrastructure & MRO.
- Analyse complex data to track compliance, savings, and category performance.
- Work with stakeholders across Procurement, Engineering, and senior leadership.
- Implement sustainable, compliant processes aligned with group category strategy.
Capex Strategic Procurement Manager Required Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or related field; CIPS qualified or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in procurement, ideally in CAPEX or engineering procurement.
- Proven success in £multi-million contract management.
- Experience in project-led procurement, supplier performance tracking, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable with travel within the UK and wider Europe.
