Who You Do
He or She will be responsible for performing supply planning and inventory management for Chemicals business to deliver customer's satisfaction, efficiency and cost optimization. The main duties are to.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with sales and marketing.
- Manage supply plan and supply purchasing order
- Analyze stock status with recommended actions.
- Define stock classification and inventory strategy for each category
- Consensus demand forecast with Business units and improve its accuracy
- Develop and manage inventory strategies on existing items, new products, slow moving & obsoleted items.
- Plan inventory, develop strategy and communicate risks related to inventory and supply plans.
- Maintain metrics/scorecards on KPI's, fill rate, forecast accuracy, Excess & Obsolete inventory (E&O inventory).
- Define and maintain inventory & supply planning master data
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, or any related field
- At least 2-3 years' experience in strategic planning, master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and inventory control.
- Understanding of ERP (SAP/Quattro system)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and result oriented
- Ability to manage day to day tactical activities and assist the team with ad hoc planning metrics and reports.
- Better to have some communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
- Familiar to work at remote environment with her/his managers, colleagues
