About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager on a major data centre project in Dublin. This is a key role with responsibility for financial management, budget control, performance reporting, and delivering on commercial objectives. Key to success in this role will be your ability to lead and develop a strong commercial team whilst delivering in a dynamic project environment.

About You

You will be a commercial professional experienced in building strong client relationships, and delivering results. You understand how to balance commercial priorities with project demands, and you are confident managing risk and achieving financial targets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is solutions-focused, and values clear communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project procurement to successfully meet timelines, budgets, and goals.
  • Ensure clear and consistent cost management practices are in place.
  • Provide commercial reports for key stakeholders
  • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing from pre-construction through project delivery to align teams on scope, budgets, and procurement plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
  • Collaborate with project teams to actively assess and respond to risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project capacity and budget expectations.
  • Ensure subcontract and procurement documentation is comprehensive and protects company interests.
  • Support timely, contract-aligned client billing and cash collection.
  • Promote efficient, contractually compliant practices across the supply chain.

Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying with significant related experience
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Main Contractor experience essential
  • MEP and data centre experience highly beneficial
  • Experience of various procurement models (lump sum, remeasure, design-build, etc.)
