Job Description:
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team, with proven experience in managing procurement operations across multiple brands and diverse product categories including:
• Beauty & Cosmetics
• Confectionery & F&B (Food & Beverages)
• Leather Goods, Wallets & Perfumes
The successful candidate must have hands-on experience working in a multi-brand environment, managing procurement processes through digital systems (ERP), and minimizing manual work to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal teams across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and IT sales channels to understand product needs for each brand.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for approved suppliers across the beauty, confectionery, and leather goods sectors.
• Collect and review supplier quotations, ensuring thorough price and service comparisons are submitted to the Senior Procurement Officer for approval.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery, product quality, and service levels meet company expectations.
• Maintain and regularly update the supplier database within the procurement system, ensuring all approved suppliers are categorized correctly by product type and brand.
• Ensure all procurement transactions are handled through ERP systems, with minimal reliance on manual paperwork, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Generate periodic procurement and purchasing reports using system data, providing accurate insights for management review.
• Identify and propose new suppliers when required to enhance product variety, improve pricing, or secure better service terms.
• Attend industry exhibitions and trade shows to keep up with market trends, discover new products, and build supplier relationships.
• Coordinate closely with Inventory Controllers to maintain balanced stock levels across all brands and locations, preventing overstock or shortages.
• Follow company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably in a multi-brand retail environment.
• Proven experience working with multiple product categories, particularly in beauty, confectionery, leather goods, and perfumes.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems and ERP platforms (experience transitioning manual processes into system-based workflows is a plus).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Strong report writing and data analysis skills, with a focus on system-generated reports.
• Fluent in English.
