- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage vendor selection, evaluation, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of contracts and purchase orders.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate team members' contributions and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Preferably from industries such as media, production or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics and regulations in Egypt.
- Knowledge of key suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers operating in Egypt across relevant industries.
- Familiarity with Egypt's procurement and trade laws, such as customs regulations, tax laws (e.g., VAT), and import/export requirements.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bilingual skills (Arabic and English) for better communication with local and international stakeholders.
